About this event
Join us for an information webinar to learn about the Juris Doctor (JD) hosted by the Melbourne Law School at the University of Melbourne.
Graduating with the Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Melbourne means wherever your career takes you, both nationally and internationally, your degree will be recognised as exceptional.
The graduate-level curriculum equips students with the core skills and knowledge essential to take a leading role in contemporary legal practice, the business world, government and community organisations, and provides extensive international opportunities. It leads to admission to the legal profession in all Australian jurisdictions and can also be used as a basis for seeking admission in many jurisdictions overseas.
Join us online to hear from Associate Professor, Judith Marychurch (Assistant Dean - Teaching & Learning) and current JD students to learn about their experience in the course and find out about the employment opportunities for our JD graduates.
The session will also cover the application process, scholarships and funding.
Applications for start year 2027 are now open and close 30 September 2026.
*Please ensure you check your local timezone if you wish to attend the session live. A recording will also be sent out after the session.
*If you are unable to attend this event, we will be hosting an in-person session at the Melbourne Law School on Monday 21 September. Register here.
